2 Units 3000kW Francis Hydro Turbine for HPP Completed
Chengdu Heavy Tech Co., Ltd. recently completed a hydropower project featuring two 3,000 kW Francis turbine-generator units (total installed capacity: 6 MW; net head: 138 m; design flow: 2 x 2.625 m³/s). The units have successfully passed both no-load and load tests, been connected to the national grid, and formally handed over to the client.
The hydroelectric equipment was independently developed and manufactured by Chengdu Heavy Tech Co., Ltd. The project involved site preparation, the removal of old equipment, and subsequent civil engineering modifications.
Heavytech delivered the two units to the client within six months. To meet specific client requirements, the company provided on-site guidance for installation and commissioning. Through close collaboration with the client's construction team and civil engineers, the installation and commissioning process was successfully completed in two and a half months.
